The painter, sculptor and glass designer Udo Zembok is one of the artists who have explored and developped the medium of glass as an authentic means of expression. His field of work ranges from small-scale glass sculptures to monumental installations and architecture-related commissions, and his innovations and concepts are now widely shared. In his work based on colour, these are not attributes of the materiel but the motif itself. They act by themselves, develop and dialoguing with each other. As an independant means of expression, they seem to tell stories of colour and emotion.
