A new editor has been identified for the Northwest Ohio Glass Interest Newsletter, but is unable to start until March.  The Hakels will continue until that time.

Habatat Michigan Opening Not Grandma’s Glass

  • This will be 12 presentations over 12 months by 12 artists pushing the medium beyond the norm.

Call for Artists from Glass Axis – New!

  • This call is open to both solo artists and group artists. Work may include other mediums but must be at least 50% glass. Exhibitions run for approximately 6 weeks at a time. Each exhibition will include either an opening reception or closing reception, in accordance with the Franklinton Fridays gallery hop calendar. Exhibiting artists will also have the opportunity to do an artist talk during their reception and a glass-making demonstration to showcase how their work was made

Traver Gallery Annual Artist Group Exhibition – New!

  • New works by Gregory Grenon, Mary Josephson, Harold Hollingsworth, and others; the diverse artworks presented highlight the artists’ distinct approaches to their chosen mediums and their artistic processes.

 

Artists included in this exhibition: Clare Belfrage, Mark Bennion, Ling Chun, Andrea Dezsö, Marita Dingus, Mel Douglas, Scott Fife, Gregory Grenon, Harold Hollingsworth, Mary Josephson, John Kiley, Dante Marioni, Michael Peterson, Preston Singletary, April Surgent, Matt Szösz, Cappy Thompson, Anne Traver, Dick Weiss, and Lynn Whitford.

  • Franconia Sculpture Park is an outdoor sculpture park in Franconia, Minnesota, that offers a combination of work, residence, and exhibition space for emerging and established artists. The 43-acre park, with a rotating collection of over 120 contemporary sculptures, and is free and open to the public.
